Effective 14 July 2026
We collect as little as we can and we don't sell your data. This policy explains what we hold, why, who helps us run the Service, and the rights you have over your information.
Dionysia is operated by Kanish Tuteja, a sole proprietor based in Quebec, Canada, and is the person responsible for the personal information collected through dionysia.ca. For any privacy question or request, contact privacy@dionysia.ca.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
We use your information only to: create and secure your account; provide the Service and stream Content to members; process payments and manage your membership; respond to you; understand and improve the Service; and meet our legal obligations. We rely on your consent and on the need to perform our agreement with you as the basis for this use. You can withdraw consent at any time (see your rights below), though some uses are needed to keep your account working.
We don't sell your personal information and we don't share it for advertising. We use a small set of trusted service providers to run Dionysia, and share only what each needs to do its job:
| Provider | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing & subscription billing | USA / global |
| Supabase | Account authentication & database | Cloud (hosted) |
| Mux | Secure video hosting & delivery | USA / global |
| Vercel | Website hosting | USA / global |
| Plausible | Cookie-free, aggregate analytics | European Union |
Some of these providers process data outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. Where information is handled outside the province, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of the Service, its creators, or its members.
We keep this simple. We use essential cookies and similar storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. Our analytics (Plausible) do not use tracking cookies and do not build a profile of you. We do not run advertising trackers.
We keep your account and membership information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to close your account and delete your data at any time (see below).
Passwords are encrypted, payments run over secure connections handled by Stripe, and members-only films are delivered through short-lived, signed playback tokens so they can't be streamed without an active membership. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a serious breach as the law requires.
Under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as modernised by Law 25) and Canada's PIPEDA, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these, email privacy@dionysia.ca. We'll respond within the time the law allows (generally 30 days) and may need to verify your identity first. The person responsible for privacy matters at Dionysia is the Operator, reachable at that address.
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and change the effective date above. If the change is significant, we'll let you know by email or a notice on the site.
